How to block the automatic update to Windows 10 from Windows 7 or 8

Hello World,
Windows 10 has been installed on millions of machines around the world, also because of this free upgrade for previous systems
A couple of months ago all Windows 7 and 8 have downloaded all the files and components needed to perform the automatic update

We say that this action was not frowned upon by the users who did not want to upgrade to Windows 10

So Microsoft was justified by saying that all Windows systems, when connected through Windows Update, are prepared long ago to future updates, this also involves the installation and downloading of files you do not know the system

For those who do not want to upgrade your system to Windows 10, however, there's bad news, according to Microsoft, upgrade to Windows 10 will be released as a recommended update for Windows 7 and 8

This means that those who imposed the automatic updates in Windows (almost 90% of users has set this type, because it is a recommended system) you will see download several gigabytes of data about Windows 10
Then upgrade is downloaded and launched automatically, however with a popup where you choose whether YES or NO will be launched installation

To avoid running into this problem, if you do not want to upgrade to Windows 10 you should modify the Windows Update settings
Go to Control Panel> System and Security> Windows Update> Change Settings

My advice is to set the "Important Updates" on "Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install"
Instead the "Recommended Updates" set them up "me recommended updates the same way I receive important updates".

So they can be excluded with the consent, all updates affecting Windows 10
