How to consume less memory and processor in software use

Hello World,
Have you ever had trouble opening or using a program?
There are several software that now consume a lot of memory and system resources, thus drastically slow down our machine
If this is not a problem for the new PCs, unlike those a bit 'older suffer because the programs require more CPU

There are two ways to reduce CPU usage by a program, make it available to Windows itself, while the other can do it with a free program

Free Software BES (Battle Encoder Shirase)
The BES program is specifically designed to limit CPU usage
With this software you can take the process a running program and limit their use of resources by setting the percentage of CPU usage, so that specific program will never exceed the predetermined setting

Download BES and open it, is portable so no installation required
Click on Target to select the job limit, you can limit up to 3 simultaneously
In the next window you can scroll through the list of all running programs, identified the process that you are interested in, select it and click "Limit This"
On the "Confirmation" click Yes

In the main BES you can view the process just added, click "Control" to open the "Limiter control"
From here you can set the percentage of CPU usage by the individual process
The limit is expressed in negative, this means that if, for example, set to -70% then it will mean that the process in question can be used only 30% of memory

To take into account that if you restrict the program this too will turn more slowly, so do it sparingly for the programs you use

Limit the CPU through Windows
There is another way to limit the use of the processor that is included with Windows but can only be used if you have a multi-processor system
Press Ctrl + Alt + Del and open the Task Manager
Bring on the "Processes" tab and click the right button on the process you are interested
Select from the menu "Management Affinity"
Now you can select how many processors must be active to run that specific process, set 1 instead of 2 limit of 50% of our CPU that program!
